The second issue picks up 14 months later with Kylie rich and famous, while Melvin has been given a stupid nickname and has stopped killing. Kylie is really enjoying her new fame, but isn’t doing much to grow Melvin’s notoriety, which has made Melvine quite angry. And making a serial killer angry is not a smart thing to do.

A brutal serial killer named Omen is terrorizing New York City, taking the eyeballs of his victims. He has been targeting Matt Murdock, besting the Man without Fear because he claims to see the future. When Daredevil tried to set a trap for Omen, the hero was almost killed – until the Owl arrived, shooting Omen and saving Daredevil for a reason he did not reveal. Detective Forte and Officer Callahan were on the killer’s trail when Omen ambushed them and stole Callahan’s eyes, leaving a traumatized Forte behind.
