The second appearance of the X-Men and Morbius’ debut are two of the key books in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation & Art Weekly Online Auction. Comics will close on May 23, 2021, followed by all other lots on May 24.

X-Men #2 CGC 7.5 boasts the second appearance of the X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, the Beast, Angel, and Iceman), and the first appearance of the villainous Vanisher. Jack Kirby created the cover and art for this issue.

Morbius, the Living Vampire, is introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man #101 CGC 8.0. This issue, which also includes an appearance by the Lizard, has a cover by Gil Kane and John Romita Sr., with art by Kane. It is currently tied for the No. 21 book on Overstreet’s list of Top 25 Bronze Age Comics.
