Comics Guaranty, LLC (CGC) once again broke a previous record for on-site
grading at a convention with more than 2,200 comics certified at Wizard World
Chicago last weekend. Anyone attending the show witnessed the long lines and
crowds that were seen at the CGC booth.

“On-site grading went above and
beyond all expectations. Again, Wizard World Chicago was a whirlwind of
activity! We shattered our previous record by doing over 2,200 books, over 400
books more then the previously,” commented CGC Senior Grader Paul
Litch.

While this show featured only Modern tier grading fans rushed to
take advantage of Signature Series with Jim Lee and Frank Miller in attendance
at the con.

“The prestigious CGC Signature Series accounted for close to
30% of all on-site submissions. We all worked hard, but it was worth it and
everyone at the show appreciated our crew’s hard work,” said Litch.

The
many submission highlights included CGC Signature Series copies of All Star
Batman & Robin #1, Wolverine Limited Series #1, and a CGC
certified 9.9 Mint copy of Give Me Liberty #1 which was also a Signature
Series copy signed by Frank Miller.
