This issue of World of Archie Jumbo Comics Digest features the first appearance of Martinique the sea witch in a Sabrina story by Dan Parent, and it contains the classic story “Dark Victory” by George Gladir and Stan Goldberg.

Archie buys a boat with the intention of fixing it up with Jughead – nothing could go wrong there, then Reggie gets on everyone’s bad side with his tennis skills, and Veronica tries to help Dilton get rich on his new sunscreen formula. The Archies play a concert on a raft that is sabotaged by hecklers, the boys go on a hiking trip but can’t get the girls out of their minds, and Archie keeps getting into trouble with Veronica when he notices other girls on their date.

The latest Archie digest is filled with cute stories about the Riverdale gang. There’s competition, silly hijinks, and romantic foibles all wrapped up in the summer package. It’s great summer reading for fans of Archie who also love fun in the sun.
