Vintage Batman Listed at Pedigree Comics
“A fabulous group of mid grade 1950s Batman comics” has landed at Pedigree Comics, according to Doug Schmell, the company’s President and CEO.
“The group (36 issues between Batman #46 and Batman #113, plus #133 and #153) comes from a collection out of Southern Indiana, which also contains nice 1950s runs of Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, Tarzan, and Lone Ranger, plus other titles including some romance comics. These titles will debut in the next few months on the Pedigree Comics website,” Schmell said.
Most of the books in the Batman group (29) are in CGC-certified 4.0 and higher condition and almost all of them (26 out of 36) have off-white to white or white page quality, with the rest having off-white. There are many hard-to-find issues in the run, which was just certified by CGC last month, he said.
“All of the books will appear in the New Arrivals section beginning on Friday morning with the initial 12 books and will continue until Sunday. This is a great opportunity to pick up some very affordable 1950s Batman comics with a click of the mouse,” he said.
Included among the offerings are Batman #46 3.5, #64 4.5, #67 6.0, #68 5.5, #76 4.5, #77 6.0, #80 5.5, #83 6.0, #84 5.5, #85 4.0, #86 4.5, #92 6.0, #97 5.0, #99 6.0, #102 6.0, #103 6.0, #106 5.5, and #109 6.0.
“Make sure you check out this brand new Batman listing in the New Arrivals section of the Pedigree Comics website this weekend and keep reading the ‘Latest News’ for more information on the other books and titles from this collection out of Southern Indiana,” he said.
