assembled one of their biggest events ever and hobbyists around the world
responded. The event included original art, CGC books, Silver and Golden Age
titles and for the first time in a Vault auction, movie posters.
CGC
graded titles were hot as a copy of Amazing Fantasy #15, featuring
Spider-Man’s first appearance and graded at 5.5 sold for $4,856.25.
The
original art listed inside the auction gathered a lot of attention and plenty
of bidders. Vault listed early Fantastic Four and X-Men pages by the legendary
Jack Kirby. There was also page 20 from Spider–Man #20 by Steve
Ditko. Other pieces included work by Curt Swan, Murphy Anderson, Neal Adams and
Sal Buscema.
