The Daughter of Drakulon and the She-Devil with a Sword are trying to escape a hellish landscape in Vampirella vs. Red Sonja: Red City. The Dynamite special is written by Chuck Brown (Bitter Root) with art by Paulo H. Mel (Transformers: Song of Jupiter). It will arrive in August 2026.

The special follows the action that Dan Abnett wrote when Red Sonja and Vampirella were recruited by the Project. The action began in face to face in Red Sonja: The Superpowers, Vampirella: The Dark Powers, and Vampirella vs. Red Sonja.

“The art, plot, and settings of Vampirella vs. Red Sonja take the characters back to their roots in a melting pot of warriors, blood, swords, magic, and bikinis,” Brown said.

Vampirella and Red Sonja art trapped in Red City among the vampires, barbarians, and magic. To get out of the nightmarish city they will need help from superpowered allies like Dyna Might and work together against the many foes.

Vampirella vs. Red Sonja: Red City comes with covers by Sebastian Piriz, Diego Yapur, and a mystery blind bag that includes three limited edition variants. There’s also a trio of covers depicting model Ivy Cosplay who portrays each character on single covers and then appears as both on the third cover.
