Alien Books is previewing the next wave of Valiant comics with a giveaway Valiant Beyond Preview Edition Ashcan. The free comics will be at the IDW Publishing booth #2729 at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24-27, 2025. They will be available while supplies last.

“We’ve talked a lot about how excited we are to be launching Valiant Beyond, but the time for talk is over,” Alien Books Director/Editor-in-Chief Matias Timarchi said. “We want readers to be as hyped up as we are for the incredible stories and artwork that await them in these new #1s and the Valiant Beyond Preview Edition Ashcan is the perfect way to show off the start of this dynamic new era of Valiant Comics.”

The Valiant Beyond Preview Edition Ashcan will contain scenes from the new Bloodshot #1, Tales of the Shadowman #1, All-New Harbinger #1, and The X-O Manowar #1. All four series will tell standalone stories that are designed to be accessible for new readers and longtime Valiant fans. They represent the first titles that are part of the new publishing partnership between Alien Books and IDW.
