major strides are being taken to quell the instances of comics and collectibles
counterfeiting throughout the country. Just this week, The Upper Deck Company,
LLC filed a lawsuit against nearly 50 individuals and companies for marketing
and distributing fake Yu-Gi-Oh! starter decks, booster packs and individual
cards. Companies named in the lawsuit include Fry’s Electronics, Inc.,
Boingofans Auctions, Gulf Atlantic Vending, Creative Vending, Great Wall
Company, Double Lucky Corp and Jays Anime, LLC. Individuals named as defendants
hailed from New York, Miami, Dallas, San Francisco and Seattle.
Upper

against companies and individuals that advertise, manufacture or sell
counterfeit Yu-Gi-Oh card games.
