Scarlet and Torso, two prominent Jinxworld titles, are getting new collected editions at Dark Horse. This news follows the recent announcement that Brian Michael Bendis was bringing his Jinxworld imprint and new comics exclusively to Dark Horse.

Scarlet, written by Bendis with art by Alex Maleev, follows Scarlet Rue after she survives a near death experience and wakes from a coma to learn that her world was destroyed. Driven by rage and guilt, she starts fighting the corrupt cops who ruined her life, sparking an uprising against those who abuse their power.

Torso tells the story of an aging Elliot Ness as he hunts for one of America’s first serial killers: the torso killer. Written by Bendis and Marc Andreyko with art by Bendis, this comic is set after Ness took down Al Capone as he and The Unknowns try to find a vicious killer leaving dismembered bodies in the Cleveland area.

The new Scarlet collection features behind the scenes material, sketches, and design concepts from Bendis and Maleev. The Torso book has been redesigned through Dark Horse and Jinxworld.

All 15 issues of Scarlet will appear in the trade paperback, which retails for $29.99 and will be in comic shops on May 4, 2022. The new Torso trade is priced at $19.99 and will be in stores on June 1.
