One of the great things about fall is that the summer blockbusters come out on DVD. Next up is Transformers, on Tuesday, October 16, 2007.

The Autobots and the Decepticons have been fighting for centuries. All that stands between the Decepticons and victory is a clue held by a young man on Earth named Sam Witwicky. Completely unaware of the epic battle coming toward him, Sam will soon learn that he is humankind’s only chance for survival.

It is presented by DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures. Transformers stars Shia LeBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, and Jon Voight. It was directed by Michael Bay, and the screenplay was written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.

The DVD comes in standard, special edition, and HD special edition. The two-disc special edition includes a commentary with Michael Bay, opportunity to explore the world of the transformers, learn more about their war, plus more.
