Top Comic Creators Headline Wizard World Austin 2018
Wizard World Comic Con Austin 2018, taking place on September 21-23, is being held at the Austin Convention Center. Along with many demonstrations and discussions on the Creative Stage, the show will also feature some of the leading comics artists and writers in the Artist Alley.
Creators scheduled to appear include Mike Grell (Green Arrow), Tom Cook (Masters of the Universe), Mark Kistler (Secret City), Jonathan Glapion (Dark Knights Metal), Steve Pulawa (Aurora Rise), Jason Meents (Superhero Tykes), Thomas Estrada (Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas), Jim Mehsling (Star Wars), Tracy Lawson (Revolt), Brent Woodside (Lucas Arts), Jeremy Clark (Grimm Fairy Tales), Jed Thomas (The Amity Wars), Cory Smith (SpaceCooler), Tim Vigil (Faust), Genese Davis (The Holder’s Dominion), and others.
Wizard World Austin will also include non-stop live entertainment, a dedicated kids zone, gaming, and exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities such as Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie (Doctor Who), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Charisma Carpenter (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and others.
The con is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World costume contest on Saturday evening.
Wizard World Austin is running Friday 4 PM to 9 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
