The Void’s Power Displayed in Thunderbolts* Trailer
Marvel has released a new one minute trailer for the Thunderbolts*, announcing that tickets are now on sale. While previous trailers focused on the team coming together, this teaser is centered around the villain they will face.
It starts with Red Guardian (David Harbour) talking about being a hero, before transitioning to show the Void (Lewis Pullman) turning people into nothingness on the sidewalk. The villain – who is the evil alter ego of Bob Reynolds/Sentry – states that, “I am the Void. There is no use fighting.” After he indiscriminately kills more people, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) warns that “He’s invincible, all-powerful, stronger than all of the Avengers rolled into one.”
After he causes more chaos, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) declares that this ragtag team of former villains, antiheroes, and screwups will be the ones to stop him. What follows is a montage of action shots showing off the team’s abilities as they try to save the day.
Thunderbolts* stars Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster. It is directed by Jack Schreier (Star Wars: Skeleton Crew), with executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek, Jason Tamez, and Scarlett Johansson.
It will premiere in theaters on May 2, 2025.
