The Thanksgiving Day weekend traditionally brings some big box office results, and that seemed to ring true for November 25-29, 2009 as The Twilight Saga: New Moon continued it dominance with another $65,599,682, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.

It was trailed by The Blind Side ($57,530,347), 2012 ($25,549,508), Old Dogs ($24,085,000) and A Christmas Carol ($22,557,631) in the top five.

Many commentators had written A Christmas Carol off when it opened lower than expected, but it’s made $105 million in domestic sales alone thus far.
