Classics Illustrated Deluxe #10 features three tales written by the originator of the modern detective novel, Edgar Allen Poe. Papercutz provided this preview.

The Murders in the Rue Morgue and Other Tales features three of Poe’s best tales. First up is The Murders in the Rue Morgue, where it’s up to the mighty detective C. Auguste Dupin to think of the unthinkable when confronted with a locked door, a double murder, and an untouched chest of gold.

The Gold Bug is an intricate tale of code-breaking and greed bordering on madness, while in The Mystery of Marie Roget, Dupin examines a truly gruesome but “ordinary” crime and strips away the layers of opinion clouding the true story.

The Parisian streets come alive through the masterful period artwork of Fabrice Druet and Paul Marcel. Their art brings a new dimension to the world created by Poe. A full 144 pages of detecting delight, the book will be available in both hard and soft covers.
