The Fight for NYC is On in Daredevil: Born Again Teaser
Marvel dropped a Daredevil: Born Again season two teaser trailer packed with tension, fights, the first footage of a returning character, and a smidge of gallows humor.
Daredevil: Born Again season two is set six months after the first season with Mayor Fisk declaring martial law and outlawing vigilantes. Daredevil wants to protect the city from Fisk’s increasingly stronger strangle hold, but is finding that difficult with the Anti-Vigilante Task Force hunting down superheroes. Enter former Defenders teammate Jessica Jones.

The teaser is only 30 seconds long, but delivers plenty of hits in the limited timeframe. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) talk about how the situation in New York has gotten out of hand and that Daredevil needs help stopping Fisk. We see Daredevil’s new black costume and a dramatic showdown moment between Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) and Matt and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll).
A brief shot of Jack Duquesne/Swordsman shows Tony Dalton reprising the role he first played on Hawkeye. There’s an explosion that elicits a smile from Daredevil and Kingpin delivers a vicious punch in the boxing ring. After a classic Daredevil hallway fight scene, it cuts back to Matt and Jessica sharing a chuckle over their new team-up.

Season one cast members Ayelt Zurer, Wilson Bethel, Margarita Levieva, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, and Michael Gandolfini are all returning for season two of Daredevil: Born Again. Matthew Lillard will be introduced as Mr. Charles, a political animal who will be an antagonist for both Wilson Fisk and Daredevil.
The eight-episode season will start streaming on Disney+ on March 24, 2026.
