Fans of The Evil Dead can experience the movie in a new, immersive way at Evil Dead in Concert. Audiences will be treated to a live orchestral presentation of the film’s score while the movie plays on a large HD cinema screen.

The tour will travel to 50 cities throughout the US, starting in Buffalo, NY on September 22, 2025, and ending in Charlotte, NC on November 21. It will include a special three-night event in Los Angeles over Halloween.

The Evil Dead score was composed by Joe LoDuca who used string instruments to draw out the tension or emphasize the horror with sudden screeches. His work elevated director Sam Raimi’s frightening film by amplifying the disturbing behavior of the deadites and isolation of the cabin.

In the movie, a group of college friends (led by Bruce Campbell) are set to spend their vacation in a cabin deep in the Tennessee woods. It quickly turns into a nightmare when they find the book of the dead and unintentionally summon a demonic entity. One by one, the friends get possessed by the demon and do horrible things to themselves and each other.

The Evil Dead spawned two sequels and a TV series with Campbell (all of which feature LoDuca’s score), as well as two reboot movies. LoDuca is also known for composing the scores for TV shows like Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, Leverage, and Chucky.
