Supernatural Comics Head to Dynamite in October 2025
Jump into the Impala for new adventures with Sam and Dean Winchester. The popular demon fighting brothers are set to star in a Supernatural comic book series from Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.
The Winchester brothers will once again travel throughout smalltown America to stop the demons, ghosts, and other monsters terrorizing helpless citizens. The comic takes place early in their tenure as monster hunters, set between the first and second seasons of the show. It starts when Dean and Sam learn about a factory that has burned down, killing several employees. They become suspicious when the CEO seems too prepared in response to the tragedy.
The book will be written by Greg Pak (Darth Vader) and illustrated by Eder Messias, reuniting the pair who worked together on Sam Wilson: Captain America.
“A couple of dudes in a cool car chasing monsters, demons, and ghosts? Tongue-in-cheek, but deeply felt emotional story of sibling rivalry and family tragedy? Hugely fun, anti-authoritarian heroes and vibes? Look, I was hooked with the ghosts, but I’m all in,” Pak said. “Fans of Supernatural know the show is a blast and it’s an enormous pleasure and privilege to be able to dig into this wild world, especially with Eder Messias. We’re going for fun and grounded, and then we’re going to absolutely cut loose when the time comes. I can’t wait to show more, and thanks so much to everyone for coming along for the ride!”
“When I received the invitation to work on the Supernatural comic book series, I almost fell out of my chair!” Messias said. “It is by far my favorite television series. Here in Brazil, on Saturday nights, they would show four episodes in a row. After that, we would spend the week talking to friends about the next episodes. I’m looking forward to bringing this story to fans and giving it my best!”
The first issue will feature covers by Clayton Crain, David Cousens, and Messias, plus special photo covers from the show. The series is set to begin in October 2025.
