Superman & Lois has found its new Jonathan Kent in Australian actor Michael Bishop. He will take the role in the upcoming third season of The CW show. Warner Bros. made the announcement just three weeks after Jordan Elsass exited his role as Jonathan Kent.

Bishop recently made his US film debut in the Disney Channel’s Spin. His other credits include the Australian series Grace Beside Me, the film Swinging Safari, and the short films Shelter, Skin Like Bark, and Detention.

One of the last Arrowverse shows, Superman & Lois follows Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) their sons Jordan (Alexander Garfin) and Jonathan after they moved to Smallville. Production on the show’s third season is set to begin soon in Vancouver.
