On November 7, 2015 Superheroes for Hospice will be auctioning over 100,000 comic books, including high end Silver Age titles. The upcoming charity comic book sale will take place from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Barnabas Health Corporate Office, located at 95 Old Short Hills Road in West Orange, NJ.

Many comics will be offered at deep discounts. There will also be comics related toys, action figures, t-shirts, and plenty more. Professional comics creators will be there selling autographed books and comics, drawing sketches, and selling original art and sketch cards.

Superheroes for Hospice has been working since 2009 and has raised $120,000 for Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center (BHHPCC). Proceeds have helped individuals and families who are dealing with life-limiting illnesses. It was conceived by BHHPCC Volunteer Coordinator Spiro Ballas and has welcomed top industry talent to appear at the auctions, sign autographs, and offer panels on comic art.

“To every customer who has ever come to our event, to every comics creator and vendor who has appeared at the event, to all those who have volunteered, everyone who’s promoted us and everyone who has donated – thank you! I am ecstatic about the success of this effort and it is only because of all who have directly participated and engaged in this worthwhile cause that we have succeeded,” Ballas said.

Comics industry pros at the event are Neil D. Vokes (Superman), Paul Castiglia (Sonic the Hedgehog), Paris Cullins (Blue Beetle), Tom Sciacca (Secrets of Haunted House), Darrell Goza (penciller, inker DC), Thomas Hall (Robot 13), Nadia Burgess (painter, illustrator), Michael Grassia (Plunger Pup), Vincent Delvecchio Jr. (multimedia artist), Sean Douglas (The Accelerators), Marc Heyhoe (Littleblokes), David E. McClain (The Artifyce Connection), Rickman (Zach Meets the Zombie), Tom Schloendorn (Trailer Park of Terror), Victoria Permakoff (Cathleen and the Mystery Island), Jonathan Miller (co-creator of Outpouring Comics), Don E. Smith (The Puppy Sister), Jeffrey Kipnis (creator Lightning Squirrel), Sara E. Black (artist, caricaturist), Daniel Darkoroman (The Darko Project), Bun Leung (cartoonist), C.J.
