Street Fighter vs. the Valiant Universe Debuts at SDCC
A 1990s fueled battle is set in the Street Fighter vs. The Valiant Universe crossover event. The one-shot will pit Street Fighter’s Cammy White against Valiant’s Bloodshot in a comic written by Tim Seeley (Inglorious X-Force) with art by Alfredo Cardona (ThunderCats). The collaboration between Alien Books, Capcom, Udon, and Valiant will arrive in July 2026.
“Two of the most recognizable action franchises of the ’90s collide as Cammy White, elite operative of Delta Red, crosses paths with Bloodshot, Valiant’s nanite-enhanced super-soldier, during a mission deep in the mountains of northeastern Africa. Both are hunting the same target: a hidden Shadaloo operation pushing human experimentation into dangerous new territory,” per the synopsis.
“What begins as a confrontation quickly turns into an uneasy alliance as the two discover a shared past, each controlled and weaponized by forces beyond their control. Their mission leads them into a remote lab where those same ideas have been taken even further, with consequences neither of them can ignore,” the description continues.

The one-shot also includes “The Inner Mysteries of Yoga” 8-page backup story that puts Ninjak and Dhalsim in a fight that bends reality. Embracing the mystical side of the Street Fighter franchise, the back-up story is by Timmy Heague (Black, White & Bloodshot) and Pablo Rey (X-O Manowar: Invictus).
Filippo Curzi, Yona, Marco Itri, Noobovich, Colm Griffin, and Long Vo provide the covers for the one-shot.
Street Fighter vs. the Valiant Universe is scheduled to release in comic shops on July 29. San Diego Comic-Con attendees will have the opportunity to get this issue one week before it arrives in stores. Three convention exclusive covers will be available at the show.
