Dark Horse and IDW come together for a live stream discussion of the new comic series Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 3 PM PT. Comic creators Jody Houser, Jim Zub, Nate Piekos, Greg Pak, and Danny Lore will participate in the discussion and actor Matthew Modine, who plays Dr. Brenner in the Netflix series, will visit the chat.

The panel will preview the upcoming comic series, which will be followed by a play-through of the Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. The live stream will be presented on the Dark Horse Twitch channel and is hosted on the official Wizards of the Coast Dungeons & Dragons Twitch channel.

Those who participate in the live stream can enter to win a prize pack that includes copies of the first issue, a copy of the game’s starter set, and more.

In the Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons miniseries, the boys of Hawkins, Indiana discover the monsters and adventures found in D&D. Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Will bond over the game for the first time, long before the Demogorgon became a reality that took Will to the Upside Down. They will embark on exciting quests, come together as a party, and learn about friendship and battling bullies.

The first issue will be in comic shops on November 4.
