Doctor Aphra: An Audiobook Original adapts the galactic archaeologist’s introduction, while expanding on what was revealed in the Darth Vader comic series. StarWars.com has provided an excerpt from the new audio story.

The audiobook features the voice talents of Emily Woo Zeller as Aphra. The exclusive clip presents a moment when Aphra meets a well known pirate who should not be crossed.

Doctor Aphra was created by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Salvador Larroca in 2015. An enterprising archaeologist, she proved brave enough to stand in front of Vader and morally ambiguous enough to follow his dubious orders.

Doctor Aphra: An Audiobook Original was written by Sarah Kuhn, featuring voices of Marc Thompson as Darth Vader, Sean Kenin as Triple Zero, Carol Monda as Maz Kanata, Sean Patrick Hopkins as Luke Skywalker, Catherine Taber as Leia Organa, Jonathan Davis as Boba Fett, Nicole Lewis as Sana Starros, and Euan Morton as Emperor Palpatine.
