Star Wars, Indiana Jones, More in Propstore Sept. Auction
Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction will present over 1,000 lots of film-used props, costumes, and collectibles from film and television. Franchises like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Men in Black, Harry Potter, and more are represented in the auction scheduled for September 4-6, 2025, in Los Angeles.
One of the biggest highlights is Darth Vader’s primary dueling lightsaber from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The hero lightsaber is screen- and photo-matched to the battle scenes, and is fresh to the market.
Another star lot is Indiana Jones’ (Harrison Ford) bullwhip, belt, and whip holster from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Per Propstore, this is the only time that a complete set of its kind has been offered in a public auction.
Impressive lots continue with a light-up, close-up Neuralizer from Men in Black used by Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones). The Jaws shark tooth clapperboard is offered in time for the film’s 50th anniversary and the Barbarella (Jane Fonda) screen and photo-matched costume from Barbarella is a rare piece from the stylish film.
Superhero lots are led by Batman’s (Michael Keaton) Batsuit costume on display from Batman, Spider-Man’s (Tobey Maguire) costume from Spider-Man, Captain America’s (Chris Evans) shield from Avengers: Age of Ultron, and a production-made Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) mask from Deadpool.
Science fiction highlights include Jean-Luc Picard’s (Patrick Stewart) Ressikan flute and screen-matched box with “The Inner Light” costume continuity script from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Ellen Ripley’s (Sigourney Weaver) practical SFX M240 Flamethrower from Aliens. The fantasy genre is represented through Harry Potter’s (Daniel Radcliffe) Marauder’s Map scene SFX light-up hero wand from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and a Platform 9-3/4 sign from the franchise, as well as Sauron’s (Sala Baker) helmet from The Lord of the Rings.
Additional notable lots are the animatronic Billy puppet and remote from Saw III, Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) stunt Longclaw sword from Game of Thrones, Elizabeth Swan’s (Keira Knightley) screen-matched Aztec medallion necklace from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) compound bow from Rocky III, and Ace Venture’s (Jim Carrey) screen-matched costume from Ace Venture: When Nature Calls.
“Propstore has assembled one of the most impressive selections of authentic props and costumes ever brought to market – pieces of genuine cultural history that continue to inspire awe decades after their debut,” Propstore COO Brandon Allinger said. “Whether it’s the craftsmanship of an original Batsuit, the power of a Star Wars lightsaber, each item tells a story. We’re proud to offer this exceptional collection and to give collectors and fans a rare opportunity to claim a tangible piece of the films and shows that shaped our imaginations.”
The three-day auction begins at 10 AM PT each day. The first day features in-room bidding at The Petersen Automative Museum in Los Angeles, then the other two days are online bidding only.
