Back in April, it was announced that a new canon animated miniseries centered around the Star Wars universe would premiere on Disney Channel. The first episode of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny was already released on Disney’s YouTube channel. Seven more episodes are scheduled to debut on the channel, with eight more coming sometime this fall on Disney Channel.

The three-minute pilot episode, titled “Sands of Jakku,” picks up right after Rey met BB-8. Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, written by Jennifer Muro, also features director Brad Rau and executive producers Carrie Beck and Dave Filoni. The miniseries stars the voice talents of Daisy Ridley and Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Felicity Jones (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), and Tiya Sircar and Ashley Eckstein (Star Wars Rebels).
