Spidey: Still Breaking Records!
Share:
Spiderman was released on video and DVD. Because the film grossed over
$800 million in the theatres last spring, everyone knew that sales would be
extraordinary – but even still, the numbers have reached super-heroic
proportions. The first day the film hit store shelves, it sold a whopping 7
million copies – breaking the first-day sales record set a few months ago by
another character-oriented film, Monsters, Inc. In fact, Spiderman
is so huge, Sony executives speculate it will be the biggest-selling DVD
title in history.
