Archie Comics will be trumping DC Comics this October as Sonic the
Hedgehog #166 jumps ahead 25 years to give readers their most requested
story: “Mobius – 25 Years Later: The Once and Future King, Part
I.”

King Shadow and his deadly enforcer, Knuckles, rule over Mobius
with an iron fist. Meanwhile, the legendary Sonic is no where to be found. It’s
up to one child, an old friend, to find Sonic and free Mobius. But, is Sonic
still the same hero after all these years?

Written by Ian Flynn, with art
by Tracy Yardley and Dave Manak, Sonic #166 comes wrapped on a cover by
fan-favorite video-game and comic artist Sanford Greene.
