The lifelong friendship between Sophie and Violet ended tragically when Violet died during a sorority hazing incident. Angry, Sophie visited a psychic who used her powers to link Sophie with the spirit of her friend. Violet convinced Sophie to help her expose the sorority for what they had done, but things took a deadly turn when one of the sisters “fell” in Sophie and Violet’s company. 

Issue three picks up with Sophie talking to the police about the strange incident that left one of the sisters falling to her death. Determined to keep the sorority running, president Karma (the most fitting name ever) convinces the other sisters that they need to continue with their new pledge class. Sophie soon learns that initiation is much more intense than she expected.  

The tension is building fast in Sisterhood A Hyde Street Story. Maytal Zchut is writing a tale of revenge that is escalating and testing the lengths that one friend will go to for another. Sophie sees a different side to Violet and the extreme methods of sorority hazing that plays out with drama and suspense. Leila Leiz’s art and Alex Sinclair’s colors set the cold, snowy scene and capture Sophie’s fear and Violet’s frustration.
