Three CGC 9.8 keys ranging from the Bronze to Modern Ages and art featuring Darth Vader and Daredevil are topping the weekly auctions at Heritage. The Comic Books Select Auction ends on Sunday through Tuesday, October 4-6, 2026, and the Comic Art & Illustration Auction closes on Wednesday, October 7.

CGC Census topping books are among the comic book highlights this week, starting with X-Men #100 CGC 9.8 with a battle between original and new X-Men and the limited edition X-Men label. Absolute Superman #1 CGC 9.8 with the Clayton Crain variant cover, and Detective Comics #575 CGC 9.8 featuring the Batman with a gun Alan Davis cover are all at the top of the Census are also Census toppers.

The comic auction also offers more high grade titles and a signed golden age book. The Brick Bradford #6 CGC 9.4 with an Alex Schomburg sci-fi cover is the second highest graded copy. Superman #11 CBCS 2.5 Verified Signature Joe Shuster featuring a cover by Fred Ray.

The original art auction presents examples with works by Keith Pollard, Klaus Janson, and George Pérez. Ramón F. Bachs and Stéphane Paitreau’s Star Wars: Age of Rebellion – Darth Vader splash is a powerful full body shot of the villain.

Pollard and Janson cover the history of Daredevil in one cover for The Marvel Saga the Official History of the Marvel Universe #13. Pérez’s The Brave and the Bold #4 page features Lobo and Supergirl in a magical hedge maze.
