Shawn Martinbrough, Scott Snyder Announced for Baltimore Comic-Con

The Baltimore Comic-Con is heading back to the Baltimore Convention Center on September 25-27, 2026. The convention is continuing to add to the guest list with the latest round including Sean Chen, Scott Dunbier, Scott Hanna, Shawn Martinbrough, Scott Snyder, and Billy Tucci.

Chen has been working as a comic artist for over 20 years, starting with Valiant’s Rai and the Future Force, followed by Harbinger, Bloodshot, and X-O Manowar. Moving over to Marvel, Chen had a run illustrating Iron Man, then he was the artist on several titles like Wolverine, X-Men, Spider-Man, Nova, and the Avengers. Now he is writing and drawing his creator owned Evermind with co-creator/actor Daniel Wu.

Dunbier has been editing comics for over 30 years and created the Absolute Editions and Artist’s Editions formats. He was the Executive Editor at DC/WildStorm and Special Projects-VP at IDW. In 2024, he and his wife, Amanda, launched Act 4 Publishing to preserve comic art history through large format books. Dunbier also regularly runs the Hero Initiative charity auction at Baltimore Comic-Con.

Hanna has been drawing and inking comics for nearly 40 years and has been published in over 1,000 comics and graphic novels, and he has inked over 25,000 pages. At Marvel, he has worked on Avengers, Iron Man, The X-Men, The Hulk, Fantastic Four, and is well known for his 15-year run on Spider-Man titles. He has worked on DC books like Detective Comics, Green Lantern Corps, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Superman, and Teen Titans. His is currently working on Amazing Spider-Man, doing covers with John Romita Jr., interiors and painted covers in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder, and writing and drawing his creator owned comic strip, Dodge & Hustle.

Martinbrough is the author of How to Draw Noir Comics: The Art and Technique of Visual Storytelling. The creator-artist has worked with DC Comics, Marvel, and Dark Horse Comics projects include Batman: Detective Comics, Luke Cage Noir, Captain America, The Black Panther, and Hellboy. He illustrated the Thief of Thieves graphic novel series co-created with Robert Kirkman, and he drew Prométhée for Éditions Delcourt-Soleil and ABLAZE. He co-authored Judge Kim and the Kids’ Court and was the artist on the 2024 NAACP Image Award nominated Like Lava in My Veins. He contributes to Vanity Fair, writes Red Hood: The Hill, and is writing and illustrating The HEAVY graphic novel.

Snyder is a New York Times bestselling author and one of the most impactful writers of Modern Age comics. He had respected runs in Batman, Superman, Swamp Thing, and Justice League, as well as the DC crossover line Dark Nights: Metal. He co-created The Batman Who Laughs, Mr. Bloom, and the Court of Owls, and his creator owned Wytches was a big hit at Image Comics. Snyder is currently focusing on creator owned books like Nocterra, Chain, We Have Demons, Clear, Night of the Ghoul, Barnstormers, Dudley Datson, Canary, Duck and Cover, and Book of Evil. Snyder will be at the show on Friday and Saturday only.

Tucci is best known for his modern day samurai title, Shi, which has been printed in five languages and sold over three million comics. He has worked on Sgt. Rock, Harley Quinn, Flash Vs. Superman, and Batman, and retold the Christmas story in A Child Is Born. Tucci released Shi: Return of the Warrior, Shi: Haikyo, and the Shi: Omnibus Vol. 1, illustrated Wonder Woman: Angel of Battle, and wrote the return of June Tarpe Mills’ golden age icon, Miss Fury. He recently released Shi: Return of the Warrior, Shi: Haiky, Shi: Omnibus Edition, and Zombie-Sama.
