“The overall quality of this major auction is better than any of the ones we have had the past few years, because while we don’t have super expensive posters, we have a huge number of ultra-rare posters and posters that are very much desired by collectors, so this is sure to have great results on many items,” said eMoviePoster.com’s Bruce Hershenson.
The most recent Tuesday-closing auction of one-sheets saw Holiday Inn close at $1,001, The Italian Job (Michael Caine) realize $645, and Ghost Valley sell for $507.
“We would like Scoop readers to know that all of the 110,000+ items we auction each year come to us from collectors and dealers all over the world. Our September Major Auction is running right now (in four parts, closing September 1, 3, 5 and 8), but now is the time to consign to our 14th Annual Halloween Auction, and we also already have lots of great consignments for our December Major Auction. Go to our Consign Page to learn about consigning to us and what makes us so different from all our competitors,” Hershenson said.
