September 22: Comic Art Con
The next edition of Comic Art Con will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at the Clarion Hotel Empire Meadowlands Hotel, 2 Harmon Plaza, Secaucus, New Jersey. Admission is $10 and parking is free. Now in its fifth year, Comic Art Con is dedicated solely to original comic art.
“We are happy to announce that our guest artist will be Stan Goldberg,” said show promoter Dan Gallo. “Mr. Goldberg began his career in comics in 1949 for Timely Comics. In the early ‘60s he helped to create the color designs for the many of the original Marvel characters such as Spider-Man, Hulk, and the Avengers, and he is famously known for his two plus decades of work with Archie Comics. He will be doing 9” x 12” pencil sketches and plans to bring along some of his original artwork to sell.”
“Comic Art Con is a show dedicated solely to original comic art. Even if you have never purchased a page of art before don’t be shy; this event is the perfect place to get started. With the best crop of dealers under one roof there is something for everyone and every budget.
