Sarah Shahi has joined the cast of the upcoming Black Adam New Line and DC movie, starring alongside Dwayne Johnson who plays the titular character.

Shahi is playing college professor and a freedom fighter leading the resistance in Kahndaq. She is currently starring in the Netflix series Sex/Life and is also known for her performances in the TV series City On a Hill, The Rookie, Person of Interest, and The L Word.

The cast also includes Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher. Jaume Collet-Serra is directing the project, reuniting with Johnson after they worked together on Jungle Cruise.
