One of the most popular cartoons on Cartoon Network during the early 2000s was Samurai Jack, and the network announced today that the show will be coming back in 2016. A teaser poster was released along with the announcement that Samurai Jack will air in the “Adult Swim” block of Cartoon Network’s programming.

The original series followed Jack as he seeks to travel back in time to defeat the evil demon Aku, who had flung him into the future. Samurai Jack picked up a number of Annie Awards as well as Primetime Emmy Awards during its original four-season run.
