As stadiums across the States lready themselves for opening day, Robert
Edward Auctions has lined up a timely and classy auction that will focus on the
best in baseball. One of the areas grabbing the early spotlight is a small but
very significant selection of items related to the Negro Leagues, including rare
signed items from several of the recently elected Hall of Famers.

These
items include the only known baseball single-signed by Effa Manly, the first
woman to ever be elected to the Hall of Fame, a 1931 Jud Wilson Signed
Real-Photo Postcard, a 1940 Negro League Stars Signed Ball Including
Newly-Elected Hall of Famers Jud Wilson and Ray Brown, a1939 Ray Brown Signed
Puerto Rican League Player’s Contract and, circa 1947, an official Negro League
Ball with just four signatures: Campanella, Robinson, Newcombe, and Doby, in
Near Mint condition.

These are just part of the lots listed during the
event’ Catalogs will be shipped April 7, 2006. The auction will be online
