Rick and Morty: The End #1 Gets Blind Bag-Less Variants
Rick and Morty’s latest comic adventure, Rick and Morty: The End, will see the pair appearing on blind bag-less variant covers. The first issue will feature randomized variants that present the duo traveling through a portal back to one of their best comic covers. It debuts in December 2025.
There are four blind bag-less variant covers showing the characters admiring classic covers from the past. Additionally, there are two main covers by Dave Bardin (Wolverine) and Tory Little (Cult of the Lamb), there’s a “Wanted Poster” 1:10 variant by regular Rick and Morty cover artist Phil Murphy, a 1:20 variant by Tom Fowler (Books of Magic), and a blacklight colors 1:50 variant by Bardin.
Presented by Oni Press, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the six-issue series follows the events of Rick and Morty vs. The Universe #1. After 10 years and over 100 issues, Rick and Morty’s end begins in this book, written by Daniel Kibblesmith (Loki) and illustrated by Jarrett Williams (Speed Force).
“Comic book readers will find it all starts here as Rick Sanchez, the most wanted man in this and every other universe, is on the run. With a bounty on his head, every government, military, pirate, mobster, bounty hunter, bail bondsman, religious institution, theater troupe, circus clown, and endangered species is on the hunt to bring in Rick – dead or alive,” per the synopsis. “The only one who can bring Rick in warm is the one person who knows him best: Morty Smith. But Morty’s not the only Smith hot on Rick’s trail… ‘Space Beth’ Smith is determined to bring Rick in, and she doesn’t particularly care how. Now it’s just a question of who can get to him first!”
Rick and Morty: The End #1 arrives in comic shops on December 3.
