Skull Island: The Animated Series is continuing in comic books from Titan and Legendary Comics. Written by Simon Furman (Transformers) and illustrated by Christopher Jones (Doctor Who: Once Upon a Timem Lord), Return to Skull Island will debut in June 2025.

“Return To Skull Island features a group of survivors stranded on the perilous South Pacific Island. As they uncover its dark secrets, they face life-threatening challenges and fight for survival in a land where every creature is a threat – including Kong himself,” per the description.

Titan has released a trailer for the four-issue comic series, previewing the action to come as the survivors try to stay alive amid the island’s many threats.

The first issue features covers by Inhyuk Lee and Chris Jones, including a logo virgin, foil, and color blank sketch covers. Return to Skull Island #1 will be in comic shops on June 18.
