Quantum Leap is ready to launch new time-traveling adventures on NBC. The series, which debuts in just a few weeks, has released a poster showing off new series lead Raymond Lee as Dr. Ben Song. The poster shows Ben in the middle of time-jumping chaos, surrounded by everything from horses and cowboy hats to bullet trains.

Lee’s costar Mason Alexander Park shared the photo on Twitter, writing “So excited to be a part of this chaos. [Raymond Lee] is a star, but don’t tell him I said that. Quantum Leap begins airing in a few short weeks!”

The new Quantum Leap draws on the original with Ben, a quantum physicist, exploring the mysteries of the original Quantum Leap experiment. Park will play Ian Wright, a programmer who created Ziggy, an AI unit that provides important information about Ben’s jaunts through time. The series also stars Ernie Hudson, Nanrisa Lee, and Caitlin Bassett.

The original series starred Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett who was trapped in the past and leaped into other bodies while trying to get home. Also starring Dean Stockwell, Deborah Pratt, Dennis Wolfberg, and Candy Ann Brown, it ran 97 episodes over five seasons from 1989 to 1993.

Quantum Leap will premiere on NBC on Monday, September 19, 2022.
