Propstore to Auction Modern Star Trek Costumes & Props
Propstore is heading to the future for an auction of modern Star Trek memorabilia. They will sell over 300 lots of original costumes and props from all five seasons of Star Trek: Discovery and from Star Trek: Short Treks. The timed online-only auction closes on May 12, 2026.
Star Trek: Discovery began a new chapter in the franchise “blending cinematic scale with character-driven storytelling,” per Propstore’s press release. The show became the flagship series on Paramount+ that grew with Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. The franchise expanded with Star Trek: Short Treks, presenting standalone stories about characters like Spock, Captain Pike, and Number One.
They will present a selection of Michael Burnham’s (Sonequa Martin-Green) costumes that show her progression from mutineer to captain of the U.S.S. Discovery. Sarek’s (James Frain) robe from the season one episode “Lethe” was worn by Spock’s father when his ship faced sabotage. Pieces from the 32nd century storyline include Hugh Culbert’s (Wilson Cruz) distressed Starfleet medical uniform and Dr. Kovich’s (David Cronenberg) broken Starfleet badge. The 32nd century courier sidearms associated with final season villains Moll (Eve Harlow) and Y’ak (Elias Toufexis) are also open for bids.
The auction includes Michael Burnham’s Breen light-up disguise costume, 32nd century Starfleet command uniform, and admiral jacket. Captain Christopher Pike’s (Anson Mount) away mission costume, Dr. Kovich’s (David Cronenberg) broken bridge mission costume, and L’Rell’s (Mary Chieffo) white armor costume are offered.
Additional highlights are Saru’s (Doug Jones) brooch, Sylvia Tilly’s (Mary Wiseman) Starfleet command uniform, Paul Stamets’ (Anthony Rapp) Starfleet science uniform, Grudge’s cat collar, and Starfleet Operations uniform with red, gold, and blue tunics from Star Trek: Short Treks.
“This auction offers a look back on all five seasons of the groundbreakings series Star Trek: Discovery – with more than 300 lots, the sale includes amazing costumes from the Discovery’s crew, allies, and foes, 32nd century weapons, and even a nod to fan-favorite tribbles from the spin-off series Short Treks. As Star Trek celebrates its 60th anniversary, this auction offers collectors the opportunity to own an authentic piece of the franchise’s legacy,” Propstore’s Vice President of Business Development Chuck Costas said.
All lots include a Certificate of Authenticity from Propstore co-signed by someone from CBS Star Trek Archives.
