Propstore’s upcoming Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction features an impressive group of film-used Star Wars props and more. The auction will be held on September 4-6, 2025, and is packed with over 1,000 rare and notable items from film and TV.

Leading the Star Wars lots, and the auction in general, is Darth Vader’s screen-matched hero dueling lightsaber from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It was used by Vader actor David Prowse and stunt performer Bob Anderson in the climactic sequences. This marks the first time the lightsaber prop will be offered at auction after spending decades in a private collection.

One of the most complete Imperial Stormtrooper helmets from Return of the Jedi (one of about 50 made for production) is up for bid. As are a Resistance X-Wing pilot costume and helmet from The Force Awakens and a light-up remote-controlled R2-S8 droid from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Star Wars weaponry up for bid includes Obi-Wan Kenobi’s bladed lightsaber created for Ewan McGregor in Revenge of the Sith and Darth Maul’s (Ray Park) lightsaber hilt with blade replicas from The Phantom Menace.

Additional highlights are C-3PO’s (Anthony Daniels) left hand from Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, a First Order Stormtrooper helmet from The Force Awakens, and a pair of Rodian hands from A New Hope.

“Propstore is thrilled to bring these extraordinary pieces of Star Wars history to market,” Propstore COO Brandon Alinger said. “Original props of this caliber are incredibly rare and highly coveted by collectors. Each item represents a defining moment in the saga’s legacy and deserves to be preserved and celebrated in the world’s finest collections.”

The auction begins at 10 AM PT each day. The first day on September 4 will feature in-room bidding at The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, then the following days will be all online bidding.
