Hake’s Americana & Collectibles Cataloger Jack Dixey and political enthusiasts and collectors Mark Evans and John Olsen are on the road. Their destination: the Denver Democratic National Convention. Their mission: sell political buttons.

Each day throughout their trip from Ohio to Denver, Colorado and during their time at the convention Dixey, Evans, and Olsen are documenting their trip. They will be posting videos on Youtube, roughly on a daily basis, featuring promotions from others within the industry, excited to watch their trip, to their adventures meeting button enthusiasts on the way, and covering the convention.

The Democratic National Convention is being held at Mile High Stadium, beginning this Monday, August 25 and running through Thursday, August 28. Prior to the big event, they will be participating in the American Presidential Experience, with an exhibit on presidential related items, featuring political buttons of the present and vintage pieces from the past. The videos they are presenting on Youtube are being shot, edited, and uploaded throughout the trip.
