The Power Rangers are going to learn what it means to be a hero in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Zord Quest #1 one-shot from BOOM! Studios, in collaboration with Hasbro. The book is written by Joey Esposito (Batman: Urban Legends) and illustrated by Gavin Smith (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). It will be out in December 2025.

“After a devastating encounter with the villainous Madame Axe-A-Lot, the Mighty Morphin team is left questioning whether they truly have what it takes,” per the synopsis. “To regain their confidence, they’ll each have to go on a spiritual quest of discovery to the breathtaking landmarks that the Zords call home! Will they be able to see for themselves the qualities that make them heroes at heart?”

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Zord Quest #1 has a main cover by Smith with variant covers by Casey W. Coller and Sean Von Gorman.
