
Pop Culture Memorabilia Fills Propstore’s July Auction
Propstore is hosting a Pop Culture Auction with over 430 lots of rare and original items from music, contemporary art, animation, posters, comics, and gaming. The auction will be held on July 2, 2025.
Contemporary and street art is led by OG Slick’s Money Mouse sculpture, hand-painted art by Johnny Depp, and a Banksy Di-Faced Tenner (with 100% of proceeds going to UNICEF).
Over 100 lots of animation art, including hand-painted cels, sketches, and production art are in the auction. They include Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons original hand-painted end credits art by Ron Embleton, Superman drawing by Joe Shuster, Fantasia concept art of the Centaurettes bathing scene, and The Little Mermaid “Part of Your World” original production cel signed by Ariel voice actress Jodi Benson. Animation art highlights also include a Super Nintendo: Weaponlord hand-painted GamePro magazine cover art, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs animation cel of Snow White and the Forest Creatures, Tales of Suspense #39 UK edition, and Adventures of Tintin hand-painted production cel setup of Tintin and Snowy.
They will offer posters such as a rare UK “Empire Day” charity premiere poster and cult movie posters from films like The Day the Earth Stood and Forbidden Planet.
Music memorabilia is led by Noel Gallagher’s signed Fender Acoustasonic guitar (with proceeds going to UNICEF), a rare Tupac Shakur autograph, a signed Dark Side of the Moon print by Storm Thorgerson, and rock photography by Jill Furmanovsky.
