After being announced almost a full year ago, Sony is ready to launch their PlayStation Now service on January 13, 2015. The service will first allow PlayStation users to stream PlayStation 3 games to their PlayStation 4 and later in the year the service will become available on other PlayStation Now-compatible devices.

PlayStation Now will cost $19.99 per month, or $44.99 for three months, and a seven-day free trial will be available at launch. More than 100 PlayStation 3 games will be available at launch from publishers including Sega, Warner Bros., EA, Square-Enix, and Bandai Namco.

The service allows PlayStation users to stream the PS3 titles without any need to download, install, or patch the games, and sessions are saved to the PlayStation Now’s cloud servers. More information about the service can be found at the PlayStation Now website.
