Pittsburgh Comicon Next Weekend
Well, it’s finally here. Since the Pittsburgh Comicon usually falls in April, it’s definitely been a long wait, but now the long-running convention’s debut show in its new home at the new Monroeville Convention Center is just days away.
At the September 11-13, 2009 show, in addition to Guest of Honor Stan Lee, the guest roster comic book creators such asSean McKeever (Nomad: Girl Without a World, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane), Terry Moore (Strangers in Paradise, Echo), David Mack (Kabuki, Daredevil), Darryl Banks (Green Lantern), Bob McLeod (New Mutants), Mike McKone (Amazing Spider-Man), Gene Gonzales (Tales of the Cherokee), David Michael Beck (Jonah Hex), Disney creators Pat and Shelly Block (Donald Duck), Talent Caldwell (Soulfire), Ramona Fredon (Metamorpho), Dan Fraga (Kid Supreme), Brendon and Brian Fraim (America Jr.), Ron Frenz (Spider-Girl), Bryan J.L. The Pittsburgh Comicon will offer a convention exclusive edition of Marvel’s hot-selling Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man #1, which will be sold at the show for $5. There will also be 100 CGC-certified issues graded 9.8 and signed by Stan Lee, and they’ll be sold for $100 each.
