Beginning this weekend Pedigree Comics, Inc. will be listing an ultra high
grade consignment of Fantastic Four issues from Fantastic Four
#107 through issue #284 and a first printing of #371 to boot. This
collection was cherry picked by a very serious and meticulous Fantastic
Four fan that only primarily bought 9.8’s but on occasional purchased 9.6 or
9.4 when no near mint/mint examples were available. Forty-four CGC certified
comics will be offered, 31 of which are 9.8 with 9 certified 9.6 and four graded
9.4. The majority of the copies are the top certified and have not been offered
publicly before. As most discerning Fantastic Four collectors know 9.8’s
are truly difficult to find and having 70% of the run in 9.8 demonstrates this
collector’s passion and patience.

“I feel that Fantastic Four
issues between issue #100 and # 200 are still extremely undervalued and have
serious growth potential with Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway, Len Wein, and John Byrne
stories. They also feature John Buscema, Rich Buckler, George Perez, and John
Byrne artwork. It’s Marvel 1970’s magic at its absolute best,” remarked Pedigree

The books will begin appearing on the
Pedigree Comics website in the new arrivals section on Saturday night April
16.
