Pedigree High Grade Marvels & Magazines Auction Ends Sept. 24

Pedigree Comics’ high grade CGC-certified Marvels & Magazines Auction is now open. The auction began on the night of Monday, September 14, 2020 and will last for ten days until the night of Thursday, September 24 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com).

The first lot (1984 #2 9.8 highest certified copy) ends at 8:45 PM ET on Thursday, September 24 and the last lot (X-Men #60 9.4) ends at 11:30 PM ET. There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every lot is listed without a reserve. Every book is CGC-graded and the minimum bid is only $100 for the auction. Over 325 high grade comics and magazines can be viewed on Pedigree’s website in the auction listing by clicking on the auction banner.

This is one of the better auctions Pedigree has held for high grade Silver and Bronze Age Marvel comics and magazines. Many of the books are in CGC 9.8 condition and are the highest graded copies. A bunch are also the single highest graded. Many of the books were just recently graded by CGC and a few come from original owner collections and consignments.

The magazines come from a collection that contains over 140 high grade magazines, all CGC-certified in 9.4 and higher, with most in 9.8 and 9.6. There are many different publishers and genres included, mostly Marvel and Warren. Many of the magazines are the highest certified or single highest certified copy so far.
