Peacemaker and his team aren’t feeling appreciated for their efforts to save the world. Things get worse when someone with a legitimate grudge against Peacemaker starts hunting for him in the first full-length trailer for Peacemaker season two.

It starts with Peacemaker (John Cena) being interviewed by Justice Leaguers Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion) and Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced) to join the team, but things don’t go well. Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks) and Vigilante (Freddie Stroma) vent about not being respected despite having saved the world. Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) takes her frustrations out in a bar fight and during therapy she’s told that she suffers from toxic masculinity. Then John Economos (Steve Agee) warns Peacemaker that ARGUS is hunting for him.

ARGUS is being led by new director Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) who has a personal vendetta against Peacemaker for killing his son in The Suicide Squad. Tim Meadows is introduced as ARGUS agent Langston Fleury, the personification of HR violations. Peacemaker gives a rousing speech to the 11th Street Kids, Eagley is ready for action, and Peacemaker walks through a mysterious door and comes face to face with… himself!

Also returning for season two is Nhut Le as Judomaster and Robert Patrick as Peacemaker’s dad/the White Dragon. New cast members include Sol Rodríguez as Sasha Bordeaux and Brey Noelle as Batman villain White Rabbit.

Peacemaker season two will start streaming on Max on August 21, 2025.
