Christopher Smith is not happy with his life or the way the world is treating him in the trailer for Peacemaker season two. So, when he finds a dimensional portal to a better world, Peacemaker considers relocating.

The trailer opens with a gathering of Peacemaker (John Cena), Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks), Vigilante (Freddie Stroma), Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), and John Economos (Steve Agee) – aka the 11th Street Kids. Peacemaker is shown on his motorcycle, sporting a new helmet, while in voiceover, he says that he doesn’t want to be a joke anymore, but a real hero. As Leota and Emilia encourage him to keep fighting the good fight, Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) begins his mission to find and punish Peacemaker for killing his son.

That’s when Peacemaker and Eagley find a dimensional portal to a parallel world where he hopes to make a better life for himself. Leota confronts Emilia about the fact that Chris is in love with her, which cuts to the other world where his feelings appear to be reciprocated. Flag Sr. changes his mission to closing the dimensional rift, and Economos gets a new partner that he is very unhappy about. The trailer ends with Vigilante taking the team to his basement hideout while his mother enthusiastically trails along.

Season two is adding Tim Meadows as ARGUS agent Langston Fleury, Sol Rodríguez as Sasha Bordeaux, and Brey Noelle as Batman villain White Rabbit. Also returning for season two is Nhut Le as Judomaster and Robert Patrick as Peacemaker’s dad/the White Dragon. It also includes appearances by Superman stars Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion) and Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced).

Peacemaker season two will start streaming on Max on August 21, 2025.
