The advertising deadline for our newest book, The Overstreet Guide To Grading Comics – Seventh Edition, is Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Standard placement left-hand ads in this edition are $1,000, while right-hand pages are $1,250. Please reach out to Mark Huesman, Editor-Print, at humark@gemstonepub.com and Amanda Sheriff, Editor-Digital, at samanda@gemstonepub.com to book your ads or to request more information.

Additionally, a limited number of premium spots are available on a first come, first served basis.

With the previous volume in the series regularly selling for $90 to $130 a copy on eBay, The Overstreet Guide To Grading Comics – Seventh Edition is now in the pipeline. The new edition will be offered in both hardcover and soft cover versions with cover art by Billy Tucci.

In addition to photo-illustrated examples of all the grades, The Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics – Seventh Edition serves as an introduction to the 10-point grading system, a tutorial on the care and preservation of comics, and a concise overview of the history of comic book grading.

It’s set to go on sale in comic shops in mid-June 2026, with bookstores following shortly after. It will be offered to retailers through Lunar, Diamond UK, and Universal. The book will be carried to traditional and online booksellers by SCB Distributors. The hardcover will retail for $39.95 and the softcover will carry a $29.95 cover price.

“The Sixth Edition received great reactions and sold out faster than our previous editions. Since it sold out, the demand has increased significantly and some of the outlier prices realized for copies have truly been astounding,” Huesman said. “We’re glad to produce this new edition since it’s so obviously in demand.”

“If you want to get a quick education on grading standards or brush up on your skills as a grader, it’s hard to find a better resource than this new edition. It invites new collectors in, encourages experienced dealers and collectors, and spells out the time-honored Overstreet grading standards clearly,” Sheriff said. “While the main contents – the grading definitions and photo-illustrated examples – will be familiar to our readers, the book has really been dramatically freshened up. We can’t wait for readers to see it.”
